Michael Rothman founded and served as Chairman & CEO of SMS Assist and Alex Rothman served as Chief Product Officer, SVP Operations & as Board Manager, which they have grown over a nearly two-decade tenure (1997-2017).

At the beginning of 2023, Mike & Alex delivered on the 25yr journey with a $2.25 billion Proptech Merger resulting in platform that is the leading tech-enabled property services management marketplace, and the only commercial solution that enables orchestration, sourcing and fulfillment of all property services at scale.

The application of the winning formula of Technology Expertise and Development with Operations and Entrepreneurship has driven a series of new complementary ventures funded by the Family Office DV Partners.

Apart from Day 2+, in the founding of Second Avenue in 2017, bringing to market clean, safe and functional homes that are managed by an experienced team, Mike Rothman serving as Founder & CEO and Alex Rothman as CTO created a full-service, institutional quality single-family rental platform (SFR).

Among its clients', funds have been raised to date from the following: Magnetar Capital, Monroe Capital LLC, Waterton, Met-Life and BLG Capital, which commitments bring Second Avenue's capacity for new investments to an approximate $1.7 billion fully levered capital base.

Second Avenue is expected to deploy averages of $1.2 billion annually from 2024 through 2027 in operating greater than 4,600 homes under management by 2024, including future acquisitions, across 20 US markets.

To service Second Avenue, and other vested interests, including Day 2+, Mike & Alex Rothman established Theron Technology Solutions (Theron) late 2017 with the purpose of re-deploying their aggregate knowledge and experience, coupled with resources and infrastructure, to drive better outcomes for businesses, across a variety of industry sectors and disciplines, with the right application of technology.

The best practices that have been developed over the past decade has produced an agile solutions-oriented technology team that's proven to be business outcome focused.

James (Jim) Donaghy is STO Building Group's Executive Chairman. Jim learned the business from the bottom up, holding various positions in operations,estimating, and management of Structure Tone's regional offices, and eventually leading the executive team for the entire STOBG organization.

A dynamic and creative leader, Jim personifies the entrepreneurial spirit that is a hallmark of STOBG. He plays a key leadership role in setting the strategic direction of the organization and spearheads innovation within the firm to better serve clients and provide more opportunity for employees. STOBG has been a repeat and loyal construction manager to over 150 Fortune 500 companies, many of which they have worked with for decades.
